1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Keryney (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Keryney is an AI-powered travel itinerary planning tool. We use artificial intelligence to generate travel suggestions based on your inputs. AI-generated content is for informational and planning purposes only — always verify bookings, travel requirements, and safety conditions independently before traveling.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA) to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
You may not share your account or use another person's account.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Keryney offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase — contact us at sawtraveljapan@gmail.com. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (itineraries, photos, notes). By uploading content, you grant Keryney a limited license to store, display, and (if you make it public) share that content within the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content.

You may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that infringes third-party rights.

6. Privacy and Sharing

Your itineraries are private by default. If you choose to make an itinerary public, it may be visible to all Keryney users. We recommend only publishing itineraries after your trip has ended to reduce safety risks (e.g., advertising an empty home). See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared in each visibility mode.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Itineraries, recommendations, and other AI-generated content are provided “as is” without warranty. AI outputs may be inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. Keryney is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content, including travel bookings, safety outcomes, or financial losses.

8. Affiliate Links

Keryney may display affiliate links to third-party services (flights, hotels, eSIMs). Clicking these links may earn Keryney a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend services we believe are relevant to your trip.

9. Prohibited Use

Automated scraping, crawling, or abuse of the API
Sharing account access to circumvent usage limits
Using the Service to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or misleading content
Attempting to reverse-engineer or compromise the Service's security

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time. Sections 5, 7, and 11 survive termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keryney is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Japan.
